Find Music

Method 1: Buy on a Digital Music Storefront
There are many providers of unencrypted music files that you can use to DJ. such as Apple iTunes, & Beatport. for example

Method 2: Subscribing to a music streaming service that your DJ app supports
Lots of DJ apps such as Pioneer DJ's Rekordbox, or Serato. Please note Spotify does not support this. You will have to subscribe to a service Most DJ apps support Tidal or Soundcloud Go+. Simply link your account to your DJ service and add a few songs to your library but note a lot of DJ apps prevent recording of mixes if you use a subscription service and if you have a slower connection it may take a while for songs to load.

Method 3: Ripping from a CD
In 2024 many place do not sell CDs and computers do not often have Disc drives but if you still do or want to pick up a CD Reader from your local store. you can Rip CDs to a File. I use Windows Media Player to rip them in FLAC Quality. Here is a tutorial on Ripping your music if you need help 😃

Method 4: Using DJ Record Pools
This option can be quite expensive but you will be able to download songs as a file and some even have exclusive remixes and DJ edits

Method 5: Finding places that giveaway free music
No i am not talking about illegally downloading music. lots of places such as NoCopyrightSounds, & Soundcloud is where alot of artists posts original songs and remixes of music to the internet for people to check out.

Method 6: Produce your own music
This is only if you actually produce music but i'm sure you would know that. in DAW's such as FL Studio you can click File > Export > (FLAC/WAV/MP3) File then put it into your DJ Software

Disclaimer
Please do not rip music from websites such as YouTube, SoundCloud, etc using third party services as this can be piracy and youtube espically is quite low quality to the options listed above and it may include malicious software which can infect your computer
